McInnis Cement Terminal

The terminal, built along the East River in the Bronx, has been successfully designed and constructed to receive pneumatically conveyed cement from ocean-going vessels. Consisting of a ship breasting system comprised of 10 breasting dolphins and 1 mono-pile with attached fender bollards and access service walkways, a pneumatic ship unloading system and a 16-18” steel pipe pneumatic transport system. The system design allows for transfer of the cement from the ship unloader to the storage warehouse.
